Very limited-edition Toblerone Eton Mess lands at Heathrow this summer

Only 65 handcrafted bars available per day – a taste of Britain you can't find anywhere else in the world.

Heathrow is giving travelers a sweet taste of Britain this summer with a truly extraordinary launch: a very limited-edition Toblerone Eton Mess bar, created exclusively for Heathrow passengers and not available anywhere else in the world.

Inspired by one of Britain's most beloved summer desserts, the bar combines raspberries, strawberries, meringue and shortcake pieces in luxurious white Toblerone chocolate. Only 4,000 handcrafted bars have been made, with just 65 available for purchase each day - making this one of the most exclusive chocolate launches in the world of airport shopping.

Launching in celebration of Heathrow’s 80th birthday, and timed to coincide with London's tennis season, the Toblerone Eton Mess bar is the ultimate edible souvenir – capturing the flavours of a classic British dessert in an iconic triangular form.

Whether departing the UK or passing through on a connection, travelers now have a reason to pause, discover and take home something that truly represents the best of Britain.

Passengers can discover the very limited-edition bar across all four of Heathrow’s terminals, whilst those travelling through Terminal 3 can experience a vibrant Toblerone "Never Square" Collection Boutique – offering a fully immersive retail experience, including:

  • "Afternoon tea" tasting - Sample mini meringues as you explore the space
  • Interactive discovery - Digital animations bring the Eton Mess story to life
  • Shareable photo moments - Strike a pose with the iconic Toblerone British Guard
  • Live terminal theater - On high-traffic days, a Toblerone British Guard marches through the terminal in a playful nod to the famous Changing of the Guard ceremony, guiding travelers to the boutique
  • Daily countdown - Track how many of the very limited-edition bars remain

The excitement already started earlier this month when a ceremonial Toblerone British Guard appeared unexpectedly on the Heathrow Express train from London Paddington to Heathrow, carrying a giant Toblerone bar. Surprised passengers captured and shared the moment on social media, sparking speculation and building anticipation for the exclusive release.

Only 4,000 bars exist in the world. Once they're gone, they're gone. Head to Heathrow this summer to claim your piece of British confectionery history.

Fraser Brown, Retail Director at Heathrow, says: “We know travelers love finding something exclusive they can’t get anywhere else – especially when it’s a giftable treat they can take home. This limited-edition Toblerone Eton Mess brings a taste of British summer to an iconic chocolate, in a way that feels fun, indulgent and genuinely special. With only a small number available each day, it’s a treat worth seeking out before you fly from Heathrow."

Available exclusively at Heathrow in World Duty Free throughout June - July 2026, while supplies last.

About Heathrow

Heathrow is the UK’s international gateway and the most connected airport in the world – serving 230 destinations in over 80 countries. The most punctual and reliable hub in Europe welcomes over 200,000 passengers on roughly 1,300 flights each day, and serves as Britain’s hub for trade, tourism and investment. Over 80,000 colleagues work at Heathrow – the airport directly employs about 10% of them, with the rest working for Team Heathrow partners including airlines, ground handlers and retailers.

About TOBLERONE

In 1908, Theodor Tobler and Emil Baumann invented a unique chocolate: Toblerone. "Toblerone" is a portmanteau of "Tobler" and "Torrone," the Italian term for honey-almond nougat. Its distinctive triangular shape has been recognised around the world ever since. Today, production remains based in Bern Brünnen, where employees work with great passion every day — producing up to 4 million Toblerone products daily, with around 90 percent of all Toblerone sold worldwide manufactured right there in Bern.

Toblerone has never been square. Not in shape. Not in spirit. And not in ambition. Never Square is the belief that the best things in life refuse to conform — and that the most interesting gifts are rarely the obvious ones.
