Since opening in 2008, Plane Food has been at the forefront of redefining airport dining, transforming it into a venue where every journey deserves a moment of genuine culinary pleasure. With the launch of this new concept, Gordon Ramsay Restaurants Global continues that legacy, bringing together some of the brand’s most sought after restaurants under one roof. The result is a destination that offers passengers bold, memorable dishes and an elevated airport dining experience.
The new format is designed for everyone, from single diners and business travellers to families on the move. Whether you are grabbing a quick bite, sitting down for a relaxed meal, or enjoying a drink at the bar, Plane Food Market delivers flexibility and relaxing space without compromise. The beautifully designed space features a lively bar serving expertly crafted cocktails, a grab and go counter for those in a hurry, and comfortable seating for guests with time to unwind before take-off.
At the heart of the concept is a curated selection of Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) brands from Gordon Ramsay Restaurants Global’s international portfolio. Highlights include the Lucky Cat counter serving Asian inspired favourites such as Nigiri, Spicy Tuna Roll, Bonito Fried Duck Leg Bao and the signature GFC. For those craving something classically British, Gordon Ramsay Fish & Chips offers golden cod and chips or the Shrimp Combo, paired with signature sauces like curry and mango or sriracha aioli. Street Burger serves the Classic Smash and Chilli Cheese Smash, while Street Pizza tempts with crowd pleasers like the Beef Short Rib Idiot Pizza and the Vegan ’Nduja. Spice lovers can head to Hotter Than Hell Wings to choose their preferred heat level, with sauces ranging from Umami and Sweet Chilli Kimchi to the fiery Street Hot Sauce.
Loyal fans will also be pleased to find Plane Food classics for breakfast, lunch and dinner remain on the menu serving all day, including the Full English Breakfast, Butter Chicken Curry, and the infamous Idiot Sandwich.

Today we are building on that success, evolving the concept, and celebrating how far we’ve come. Plane Food Market delivers an enticing selection of food that’s truly delicious, making airport dining relaxed and sociable, a really enjoyable addition to your travels. Plane Food Market takes what people love about our restaurants from around the world, amazing food that is fresh and full of flavour, and delivers it to time-poor, passengers who don’t want to compromise on quality at the airport.”
Heathrow Retail Director, Fraser Brown, said: “The launch of Gordon Ramsay Plane Food Market represents a significant step in enhancing the airport dining experience at Heathrow. It is great to continue working with Gordon Ramsay, an iconic British chef and a respected brand within food, and to introduce this exciting new concept which is tailored to suit every passenger’s journey. We are delighted to see such a globally recognised brand expand its offering, building on the popularity and success it has enjoyed since first opening in Terminal 5 over 17 years ago.”
Inspired by the spirit of global connection, Plane Food Market celebrates the bond between its London home and Gordon Ramsay Restaurants Global’s international hubs.
