Passengers travelling through Heathrow this Christmas will be treated to a magical departure as Heathrow partners with ‘The Snowman and The Snowdog™’.
With around 3 million passengers set to take off during December, The Snowman and The Snowdog characters will be on hand to make sure each and every journey is smooth, entertaining and fun. Friday 20 December is set to be Heathrow’s busiest getaway day with over 115,000 passengers expected to depart on that day alone.
Our littlest passengers will be able to start their holiday journey with:
- Christmas themed security lanes just for families
- Play areas for children featuring ‘The Snowman and The Snowdog’ characters, storytelling and craft sessions
- ‘The Snowman and The Snowdog’ activity packs in restaurants to keep kids entertained during meal time
- Visits by Santa and his elves
Passengers departing from Terminal 5 at 11am on the 12 December will also be treated to a special screening of the ‘The Snowman and The Snowdog’ at check-in while the London Philharmonic Orchestra perform the theme song, ‘Light the Night’ from the film.
