Heathrow is encouraging people to shop smart this Christmas in its latest advertising campaign set to launch this week.
Building on the airport's first retail advertising campaign, Heathrow shopping. The West End for less, which launched this summer, Heathrow will target passengers from both the UK and abroad to highlight the significant savings available compared to the capital's West End stores.
The campaign which has been developed by advertising agency masius, will encourage the three million passengers set to fly from Heathrow this Christmas to delay their festive shopping until the airport and take advantage of Heathrow's Reserve & Collect service at heathrow.com. Reserve & Collect allows passengers to guarantee their selection of Heathrow's latest products and make their journey through the airport even smoother.
Featuring brands such as Apple, Breitling and Bally, the campaign will be supported across a wide-range of media channels as well as outdoor sites accessing London's West End including Covent Garden, Bond Street and Knightsbridge tube stations. It will also roll out across poster sites at the airport itself.
Heathrow is home to more than 400 shops from high street favourites such as French Connection and Reiss to top-end names including Prada, Dior and Burberry. Heathrow Gifting Angels will be on hand over the festive season to inspire passengers wanting to find the perfect gift and providing information on the latest Christmas trends.
Nick Adderley, Heathrow Marketing and Insight Director, said: "Christmas is always big event at Heathrow, when families and friends travel around the world with us to be together at this special time of year.
"As the gateway for more than three million passengers at Christmas, we want to remind our customers of the savings they can benefit from by shopping at Heathrow as well as the amazing range of brands and products available for gifting."
