Heathrow is today launching its first official on-airport consumer magazine. The new quarterly publication entitled Heathrow Traveller will offer passengers and Heathrow's WorldPoints members an inspiring and informative mix of news and features from the airport and around the world.
As well as travel ideas and advice on the 180 destinations served by Heathrow, the magazine will feature interviews with renowned travel experts and celebrities, and a round up on the latest fiction, film and music.
With details of the best deals and products available at Heathrow, it will also be an indispensable guide to the airport’s shops and services highlighting the many savings against high street prices.
The first summer issue of Heathrow Traveller features the world’s best roof top bars for a sundowner, what to see in Shanghai and where to take the family in the Alps.
It also includes interviews with author Alain de Botton and TV adventurer Simon Reeve, and a lowdown on the perfect accessories to pack for trips to Paris, Marrakech and Los Angeles.
Copies of Heathrow Traveller will be available across the airport’s terminals and onboard Heathrow Express. The magazine is also available as a digital publication.
Produced by Show Media, who publish luxury travel and lifestyle magazines for national newspapers and high-profile brands, the magazine not only aims to engage those looking to while away the time before their flight, but also to help travellers get the most out of their trip – whether for business or pleasure.
Nick Adderley, Heathrow's Marketing and Insight Director, said: "Heathrow Traveller offers our passengers a rich assortment of news and information to make their journey through the airport as enjoyable as possible. It really captures the spirit of Heathrow and the excitement of flying to destinations far and wide."
