  • From the glittering blue waters of Pula to the giant pandas of Chengdu, these varied destinations will appeal to sun seekers, adventurers, and everyone in between
  • With Heathrow serving numerous destinations exclusive to UK airports, more people than ever before are choosing to fly through the ‘most connected airport in the world’

From far flung destinations across the globe to trips on home soil, there’s a summer holiday ready and waiting for every type of traveller at Heathrow.

Alongside firm family favourites like the golden beaches of Greece to the magic of Orlando, as the most connected airport in the world, Heathrow serves some hidden gems that will be sure to leave any traveller’s friends and family with holiday envy.

Recently crowned the most connected airport in the world, Heathrow offers numerous ‘UK exclusive’ services, destinations that can only be reached in a direct flight from the UK’s hub. Not only does this open up endless holiday adventures, but it also connects UK businesses to 95% of the global economy, allowing everything from Scottish whiskey to Cornish tea to be exported across the world.

For those wanting to travel in style, the relaunched fast track security offers passengers a swift start to the journey. This allows travellers more time to take advantage of 350+ retail and food and beverage options across the terminals, like the newly opened Jones the Grocer in Terminal 2. Alternatively, passengers can start the trip with a taste of luxury, booking a lounge for some pre-flight relaxation.

Passengers can expect excellent service this summer and can prepare for a seamless experience by prebooking Heathrow official parking, following the 100ml liquid rule at security and keeping an eye on Heathrow social media channels for the latest travel updates.

Ross Baker, Chief Customer Officer, Heathrow said: “From a city break, to relaxing on the beach or discovering natural wonders across the world, Heathrow is the UK’s gateway to the world. There are plenty of hidden gems among the 200+ destinations we connect to. Whether travellers are planning a trip to Pula or Portland, the Heathrow team are ready to get holidays off to the best start this summer.”
