30 June 2015 Last night marked the end of 47 years of operations in Terminal 1. We celebrated this icon of our history with members of the 1968 opening team as the final flight, BA 970, departed for Hannover. Its closure marks the end of an era, but will enable us to make way for improved services and the eventual expansion of Terminal 2.
